Lizzy Mills founded Tennant Mills in 2017, having gained a Certificate in Interior Design with Distinction from KLC in Chelsea Harbour.

Having studied Classics at the University of Bristol, she spent a decade in law in London, first training then as a commercial property solicitor for a leading London law firm.

She made the decision not to return to the law following the arrival of her first and then second daughters, and looked to her lifelong passion for beautiful interiors for a change and a new challenge.

This passion was fuelled when Lizzy was a child by her family’s business, a fine art and antiques auction house in North Yorkshire, and Lizzy always enjoys combining different styles and periods – be it art, furniture or decorative pieces – in her designs, alongside more contemporary choices.

Each project is approached with fresh eyes, and a will to bring life, comfort and workability to clients’ homes. Tennant Mills-designed homes are thoughtful and timeless, reflecting the lifestyles and incorporating the histories of the people who live in them.

Tennant Mills is currently based in Surrey, but is open to projects in London and the surrounding counties, as well as Yorkshire, for anything from single room makeovers to whole house renovations.
